Fella

Fella is a browser arcade game cut from the music video of Loka Brazi's "Fella" (ft. Flexi Aukan & Nils m/ Skils, prod. CHEM3055). Three stages, three lives, one tape. Stage 1 puts you behind the key truck on the neon city road, threading rings and dodging oncoming patrols. Stage 2 drops the camera straight down over downtown for free 360 driving, GTA-style, grabbing rings while the police wreck themselves chasing you. Stage 3 is on foot: Fella runs at the lens, the city falls away behind him, and the clapping jaw closes in until you feed it enough vinyl, VHS and coins to buy some distance. Every character, vehicle and title card is the original video art, running at 960x540 through a VHS filter with the track underneath. Keyboard on desktop, thumb pads on phone.
